The purpose of this Website is to provide you with the Services you request from us. To do so, we need to share your personal data with our trusted Partners to provide you with the quote or service you have requested. This ensures you can choose the company that meets your needs. We will protect your personal data at every stage of the process. Please read and make sure you are happy with our Privacy Policy before providing us with your personal information.

This means we are the company responsible for deciding how your data is processed. 3. What we collect

We may collect the following information:

  • Quotation information such as your old and new address, mortgage and price information, property information, type of property, moving date, and other details we need to provide the service you have requested.
  • Other information we need to enable our trusted partners to provide you with relevant quotes.
  • Information relevant to our other services that you have chosen to receive, for example insurance and so on.
  • Contact, business and financial details from organisations with whom we work, such as affiliates, referrers, service providers, and trusted partners.
  • Technical information, used to improve the service and website, including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, information about your visit including the full URL visited, the source of your visit, products or services viewed or searched for, page interaction information (e.g. scrolling, length of visit), and page response times.
  • Details of communications with you (e.g. emails from you).

4. How we collect your personal data

Most of the data we process will be data that we or our trusted partners collect directly from you: a) either when you answer the questions asked in the forms on our and their websites, which relate to the service you need; b) or questions we ask, through various channels, relating to other services you have chosen to receive, such as insurance and so on.

In addition, we collect data about how and when you use our website and our services. This helps us provide you with a good service and make any changes needed to improve our website, products and services.   • To provide your quote request details to our network of trusted firms or other partner businesses for the services that you have requested. They will then contact you with quotes via email/phone call/SMS, and they may follow up to see whether you want to use their services.
    • Our trusted partner companies have agreed to process your data in accordance with all applicable data protection laws. You have the same rights over how they use your data as you do with us.
  • To contact you to discuss your quotes or gather feedback on the service or service providers.
  • For internal record keeping.
  • We may use the information to improve our products and services.
  • We may, periodically, telephone you about new products, special offers, related services or other information which we think you might find interesting. If you change your mind, you may opt-out of receiving telephone calls at any time, either during the call or by contacting us using the details at the end of this privacy policy.
  • If you indicate you are happy for us to do so, in order to provide the Home Setup and Utility Management Services. we may in the course of provision of the services, share move-to and move-from addresses, moving dates, tenancy details, council tax status, and other data required for the provision of those services (including data relating to other occupants or household members) to Ethical Introductions Ltd. (T/A Just Move In) to enable them to fulfil the contract for those services. Their privacy policy can be found here.
  • If you consent for us to do so, we may periodically send promotional emails and other electronic messages about new brands, products, websites, special offers, services or other information which we think you may find interesting. You can ask us to stop sending these communications at any time. You can do this either by clicking on the unsubscribe link in our emails, or by replying “STOP” to any SMS message, or by contacting us using the details at the end of this privacy policy.
  • We may use profiling to tailor our offers, but this profiling does not produce any legal or significant effects.
  • If you respond to the invitations we send you to get quotes for other services, we will always inform you when other companies will be sent your details, and the purpose for sharing your data with them.
  • From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you by email, telephone, or mail for market research or feedback purposes.
  • From time to time, we may process your personal data for customer service purposes.
  • We may use the information to customise the website according to your interests, or to measure the relevance and effectiveness of our advertising.
  • Your personal data (in encrypted form) may be sent to social media and advertising platforms for advertising and audience generation purposes; you have the right to be excluded from such transfers by contacting us.
  • We may contact our partners, service providers, affiliates and referrers for financial or other contractual reasons.
  • If iPlace Global Ltd. or its assets are acquired by a third party, personal data held by iPlace Global Ltd. about its customers will be transferred to the acquirer.

  • Our partners will also act as data controllers, as they need to use your personal data to generate a quote, and to contact you. We are not in control of the processes or policies of partner companies who may provide you with quotes and/or services; the partner companies are responsible for their own data protection compliance when they process your personal data to provide their services.
  • Use of our service is free as iPlace Global will receive a fee from our partner service providers.
  • If you wish to take additional services from us, we will inform you about those partners to whom we will send your information.
  • We may also share your personal data with data processors who act under our instructions to provide services with confidentiality and integrity in compliance with relevant data protection laws, such as the Act, GDPR and PECR.
  • We will also disclose information when required to do so by law, for example to disclose your details to government bodies such as HMRC or law enforcement agencies.
  • With your consent, we will drop a cookie onto your device to enable us to share some of your personal identifiers (encrypted) with social media channels such as Facebook, so that we can place ads for relevant services onto your devices. See our cookie banner for more information.
  • We maintain a documented record of all data sharing decisions, including the purpose of the sharing, the categories of data involved, and the identity of the recipient. Each decision is assessed against our legal obligations and business needs to ensure compliance. These records form part of our accountability framework and are reviewed ongoing.

    • How personal data may be processed.
    • Their obligations in relation to implementing appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data.

    • Restrictions on onward transfers without our prior approval.

9. Where we store your data

Your data will usually be held in a destination inside the United Kingdom (“UK”) or European Economic Area (“EEA”). We use the UK or EU Standard Contract Clauses and have conducted a Transfer Impact Assessment to cover the transfer of personal data to India.
